My Favorite Qualities of the University of Hartford:
As a former student of the University of Hartford, there are many qualities I love. The location and diverseness are my two favorite things. Since we are a suburban campus bordering a city, it makes the perfect central location for activities, internships, and travel opportunities. I also love the diverse population and wide variety of majors. These make up a nice assortment of personalities and cultures.

My Territory & Responsibilities:
I am responsible for reviewing all freshmen files for the New York state territory and all transfer files of those students entering the College of Engineering, Technology and Architecture. In addition to file review, I am also responsible for the coordination/supervision of the Graduate Assistants/Intern Program (graduate student traveling admissions staff), New Hire Training and the coordination of off-campus events as well as office travel each Fall and Spring. My favorite quality of the University of Hartford is flexibility; from academics to housing and more. The University of Hartford offers 7 colleges within one University...something for everyone. As well, within the Residential Life program, students have many options to choose from regarding housing and the choices continue into the area of extra-curriculars with nearly 100 clubs and organizations to join!!! The right ‘fit’ is awaiting you!

My Territory & Responsibilities:
I review all freshman applicants from Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C. as well as all transfer applicants to the Barney School of Business. I also assist with coordinating the Red Key tour guide program.

My Territory & Responsibilities:
I review freshmen applicants from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. I also review transfer applicants into the College of Arts & Sciences and Hillyer College. I coordinate the Overnight and Shadow programs which allow prospective students to visit campus either overnight or for the day and get a glimpse of what it is like to be a University of Hartford student. I also coordinate the Phone Calling program, through which current students reach out to prospective students to answer any questions about campus life, etc.

The best attribute of the University of Hartford is the individualized attention that each student receives from faculty members. Class sizes are kept small to ensure that you will foster a strong relationship with your professors and classmates. This type of environment makes the campus truly feel like a community.

My Territory & Responsibilities:
I conduct the academic review of all freshman and transfer applicants to The Hartt School and The Hartford Art School. I also assist with credit evaluations for transfer students and am the admission liaison for the Learning Plus office.

My Favorite Qualities of the University of Hartford:
I love the variety of housing options available to students on campus. From a traditional style residence hall in our new Hawk Hall to full apartments for upper classmen, there is an option to meet every lifestyle. The diversity of our campus means that students with very different interests have the opportunity to live together and learn from each other outside of the classroom.

My Territory & Responsibilities:
My primary responsibility is to work with students who are interested in transferring to the University of Hartford. I walk each student through the transfer process, from how to apply to how many credits will transfer from their former institution. In addition, I help both current and prospective (fulltime/part-time) students understand how their credits are being evaluated and how they can best finish their degrees.

My absolute favorite part about the University of Hartford is its vibrant campus life! There truly is always something going on! Because of our size, it is easy for students at the University of Hartford to interact with their peers on an enriching level. The University of Hartford is a great place to learn from those around you, which is such an important part of the college experience!

Bio
I have been with the University of Hartford for 20+ years. In that time it has grown from a small regional University to a mid-sized comprehensive University that welcomes students from over 65 countries.

When I'm away from the office I enjoy all types of outdoor activities (hiking, biking, water sports). When I am inside I love to read, cook, and listen to music of all types. I am married with two daughters (Greer and Piper).
