Media & Journalism
In this emphasis, you will learn both how to write for various kinds of media outlets, and also how to assess, both as professional communicators and as concerned citizens, the impact of messages on the larger society. You will choose from one of three basic production classes (in TV, radio, or multimedia), as well as a minimum of two classes in "criticism and analysis" of messages, before opting for the avenue you wish to pursue as the "advanced media skills" part of your program.
