Entrepreneurial Studies

Students who dream of starting their own businesses or expanding family-owned businesses will find the tools they need in Barney's
Entrepreneurial Studies major. In fact, the majority of new job openings in the United States are in small business. In addition,
corporations value employees who display innovative behavior and an "entrepreneurial spirit." Students in this major take the core
business requirements, as well as courses like "Principles of Entrepreneurship" and "Financing a Small Business." Finally, in their
senior year, students create a professional business plan that can be implemented upon graduation.
