Contract Major in
Engineering Technology (B.S.)
Because of the overlapping nature of the various technological disciplines, some students may have career goals that combine
elements of more than one major. For this reason, Ward offers a contract major, which is designed by the student, dean, and
faculty to meet the needs of the student, while fulfilling the requirements of the University. The program of study, or contract,
is then documented in written form and includes specific requirements for graduation. Contract majors can be developed across
disciplines within Ward, or through departments in any of the University's other schools and colleges.
