Pre-Podiatry
This is the University's newest accelerated program, offered in association with the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, in
New York City. Podiatrists are licensed physicians who utilize a wide array of diagnostic procedures to diagnose and treat
disorders and injuries of the foot and lower leg.
As with our other pre-professional programs, you will satisfy your general education and science requirements here at the
University of Hartford. After receiving a successful score on the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), you will move on to the
New York College of Podiatric Medicine for your final four years, completing a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree in seven
years.
