Bachelor of Arts in Secondary English Education
This program will prepare you to become certified as a high school English teacher. In addition to general education courses,
you will take classes toward a major in English. Then, you'll spend a full semester of instruction and teaching experience in an
urban or suburban public school, under the guidance of clinical professors and a trained cooperating teacher. After successfully
completing this program, you'll be recommended for certification to teach English in grades 7 through 12.
