Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Mathematics Education

This program is intended for students seeking certification to teach mathematics in grades 7-12. Students in secondary mathematics education will benefit from small class sizes, faculty devoted to excellence in teaching, and an on-campus magnet mathematics and science high school where they may hone the craft of teaching. A Bachelor of Arts degree in Secondary Mathematics Education is awarded after successful completion of the content area courses in mathematics, professional education courses, and diverse and intensive field experiences.
