The Hartt School

The Hartt School is a world-class performing arts school within a comprehensive university setting. Students experience the excitement of performance along with the intellectual opportunities offered by the other colleges and schools of the university.

The Hartt School offers undergraduate programs in music, theatre and dance. Innovative programs in music production and technology, acoustics and music (offered jointly with our College of Engineering, Technology and Architecture), music management and performing arts management are also available.

Hartt's artist faculty is nationally and internationally recognized and offers students an intimate learning experiences with small classes, individual attention and career counseling. Interaction between faculty and students provides the framework for the development of future performers, arts managers, composers, music and production technologists and teachers.
