Hillyer College

Hillyer College, a two year liberal arts school within the University of Hartford, provides a supportive environment designed to give students an opportunityto succeed academically and to grow personally. Whatever your previous level of academic achievement, you can benefit from our program which enables you to complete general education courses required for most bachelor's degrees while you begin to explore potential majors and develop your interests. When you successfully complete the Hillyer program, you receive an Associates of Arts degree, and you move into a baccalaureate degree program at the University of Hartford in your junior year.

The hallmarks of the Hillyer program are small classes of 15-18 students, an award winning faculty dedicated to teaching; personalized academic advising, academic strategies support, and our shining stars-the Hillyer Students-men and women whe realize their academic potential and are successful!

Right now is an exciting time for Hillyer College. We have new academic concentration areas in American Studies and Education available to our students. We have a re-invigorated Honors Program with study abroad opportunities such as London, Hawaii, and Greece, and new Honors Seminars. And all of our classes benefit from new technologies in the classroom, including web-based links.
