Student Guided Tours
The University of Hartford welcomes visits from prospective students and families throughout the year. Student guided tours are conducted three times daily on weekdays during the academic year and twice on most Saturdays. Prospective students may also stay overnight in the residence halls and attend classes as part of our overnight host program. You may also "visit" the campus without leaving home.
The overnight host program is a great opportunity to show prospective students the academic and social atmosphere of the University of Hartford! As an overnight guest, you will be able to visit a class, take a tour of campus, eat in the university dining facilities, and meet current students. To participate in the spring semester, prospective students have to be accepted to the University of Hartford. Overnights are held Monday-Thursday nights. Students generally arrive at 6 pm and stay until between noon and 1:30pm the following day. Students will be facilitated by our overnight hosts, Danielle Tavolacci and Hayden Harrower.
The overnight program will be held from Monday, January 19th until Wednesday, April 28th for the spring semester. Please schedule your visit at least two weeks in advance. All necessary paperwork must be completed and returned to the Admission Office no later than two days before your scheduled visit. You can register for the overnight program by contacting the Office of Admission at (800) 947-4303 or by clicking here
The Shadow Program is your opportunity to spend a day on-campus with a current student. During your visit, you will attend a class and eat lunch with your host student. Shadows are held Tuesdays and Thursdays from Tuesday, February 2nd until Thursday, April 28th. Participants must be accepted students. Please schedule your visit at least two weeks in advance. You can register for the Shadow Program by contacting the Office of Admission at (800) 947-4303 or by clicking here.
