Get to know UHart on a day that is convenient for you. Sign up for our group campus tour followed by an individual visit with an admission counselor. Campus tours are offered Monday through Friday and select Saturdays with varying tour times.
Group campus tours generally last 75–90 minutes. Make sure you bring good walking shoes and weather essentials, as we will show you around on foot rain or shine. For University closings and delays please call 860.768.4100 the morning of your tour. You may also visit hartford.edu for announcements. If you have mobility concerns please contact our office prior to your visit.
Throughout the year, we will host several events where you can visit campus, meet students and faculty, and learn more about academic programs and how to get involved. We are excited to see you.
Do you have a passion for storytelling, video production, or sports media? Visit our School of Communication on Feb. 15 or April 19 to meet faculty and students, take a tour of our TV studio and production facilities, and attend a studio recording of a news broadcast.
Are you interested in the human mind, family therapy, or child development? Visit UHart’s Psychology Department on April 8. Tour our facilities, meet with faculty and students, and learn about the many research opportunities available to you at UHart.
If you are interested in biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, and physics, we offer hands-on learning experiences and small class sizes so you can work one on one with faculty. Visit us on April 9 to meet with professors, tour our classrooms and labs, and learn about research and internship opportunities that will prepare you for a successful career.
Campus tours provide the opportunity to see the entire campus, but if you would like an in-depth tour of a specific school or college in which you are interested in, we are happy to arrange college specific tours for you. Below are also the contact people in the different schools and colleges.
