EXS 390     Sustainable Studio Art - Ghana     51663

This course will introduce students to sustainability in studio art practice in traditional and contemporary art. Students will make a series of artworks that employ the philosophy of sustainability and incorporate a technique or perspective that is found in Ghanaian art and culture. Learn about rainforest ecosystems, visit the Cultural Center in Kamasi, and engage with the local community and participate in a community service project.
