The University takes an active interest in the academic support and personal development of our students. We make available to all students academic services, personal and health services, career planning services, study abroad opportunities, and much more. Together we can learn, grow, and be successful.
Access-Ability Services are designed to meet the unique educational needs of students with documented disabilities such as learning disabilities, AD/HD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, acquired brain injuries, psychiatric disabilities, physical disabilities, chronic medical conditions, deafness and hearing impairments, and blindness and visual impairments.
The Student Success Center (SSC) provides the resources and support necessary for a successful transition to college for our new students, and an enjoyable and rewarding academic and social experience at the University for all of our students. The Center includes information, guidance, and referrals in such areas as arranging for 1-1 tutoring, study skills, academic support services, mental health and wellness, career exploration and internships, financial aid and scholarships, Greek life, intramural athletics, and reminders about important deadlines.
The Center for Reading and Writing offers one-on-one tutoring services for writers of all abilities. Assistance is free of charge and professional or peer tutors are available to help with writing issues concerning organization, clarity, formatting, citations, or even generating research and ideas.
